Allahu
ta’ala said,
O you
who have Iman, answer Allah and the Messenger when He (or: he) calls
you to that which gives you life (al-Anfal:24)
He
ta’ala said,
And
do not follow the footsteps of the Shaytan. Verily, he is a clear
enemy to you. (al-Baqarah:168)
And He
ta’ala
said:
And
the Dunya live is only the enjoyment of deception (Ali ’Imran:185)
Ibnu
Taimiyyah said in “Majmu’
ul-Fatawa”
(1/95),
These
three move the hearts towards Allah ’azza wa jalla: Love, fear, and
hope.
Ibn
ul-Qayyim said in “
ad-Da' wad-Dawa' ”
(page 10),
The Du’a' (supplication)
belongs to the most useful medicaments.
Allahu
ta’ala said,
Those
call to the fire, and Allah calls to the Jannah and the forgiveness
with His permission (al-Baqarah:221)
He ta’ala
said, too,
And
hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the
heavens and the earth (Ali ’Imran:133)
